The short answer.

Yes. Party Poopers rents a winterized, heated washroom trailer to construction, oil and gas, and industrial sites in Calgary and across Alberta. It is winter-ready, rated by its builder to about -25 C with power for the heaters, and it carries its own fresh and waste tanks, so it needs no plumbing hookup.

This is not a standard construction unit. It is the executive option: two private rooms in gloss black, for the site office, the client walk-through, and the supervisors who are on site all winter. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates are quoted per project.

One trailer, two private rooms. It goes where the standard of the washroom says something about the standard of the site.

What the site has to have.

Four things. Tell us what the spot and the power look like in the quote form, and we check the fit before anything is booked.

Delivery is quoted with your dates, based on the drive from Calgary. For a long rental, ask about servicing when you request a quote.

  • A level spot

Reasonably level ground for the trailer to sit on, near the people who will use it.

  • Power, or a generator

It plugs into a 30A or 15A inlet, or runs on a generator. The winter rating depends on power for the heaters.

  • A water source

The fresh tank is filled on site, and the trailer never travels with water. If there is no water on site, it is brought in for an added fee.

  • Truck access

A route a truck and trailer can drive in on and back into the spot. Lease roads and remote sites are quoted by distance.

Two toilets, and the OHS Code.

Alberta’s Occupational Health and Safety Code sets the minimum number of toilets at a work site in Part 24 and Schedule 7. The count is made separately for each sex. Here is where a two-toilet trailer lands.

Minimum toilets at an Alberta work site under Schedule 7 of the OHS Code, and what the trailer’s two toilets cover
Workers of one sexMinimum toilets for that sexWith this trailer
1 to 101Covered, with a second room
11 to 252Covered by the two rooms
26 to 503More toilets needed on site
  • Two toilets meet the minimum for up to 25 workers of one sex. The schedule keeps climbing from there: four toilets for 51 to 75, five for 76 to 100.
  • On a mixed crew, with one room as the women’s washroom and one as the men’s, each room counts as one toilet: up to 10 women and up to 10 men.
  • The Code asks for separate toilet facilities for each sex. One facility may serve both only where the site never has more than 10 workers and the door locks from the inside.
  • Each toilet facility needs a wash basin or hand cleaning facility. Both rooms have a vanity with warm running water.
  • A self-contained toilet has to be emptied and serviced at regular intervals. For a long rental, raise servicing when you request a quote, so it is settled before the trailer arrives.

This is a summary, not legal or safety advice. The employer is responsible for meeting the Code, and we help you check the requirement for your crew size.

Can I rent a winterized washroom trailer for a construction site in Calgary?

Yes. Party Poopers rents a heated, winterized two-room executive washroom trailer to construction sites in Calgary and area. Each private room has a flushing porcelain toilet and a vanity with warm running water. It is the executive option for site offices, client visits, and supervisors. There is one trailer, so ask early for your dates.

How cold can the washroom trailer work in an Alberta winter?

It is winter-ready and rated by its builder to about -25 C, with power for the heaters. The walls are insulated to R7.5, and the floor and waste tank are spray-foam insulated. In an extreme cold snap, we confirm conditions with you before delivery.

Do you rent washroom trailers to oil and gas sites in Alberta?

Yes. The trailer suits lease-site and camp supervisors, shutdowns and turnarounds, and client or investor visits, anywhere a truck can reach a reasonably level spot. Delivery is quoted with your dates, based on the drive from Calgary.

Does the trailer need a water or sewer hookup on site?

No. It carries a 160 US gal fresh water tank and a 260 US gal stainless waste tank, so there is no plumbing hookup. The fresh tank is filled on site from a water source, and the trailer never travels with water. If there is no water on site, it is brought in for an added fee.

What power does a heated washroom trailer need?

It has 30A and 15A power inlets, or it runs on a generator. The heaters need power to hold the winter rating, so tell us what the site has when you ask for a quote: site power, a generator, or neither.

How much does a work site washroom trailer rental cost?

It is quoted per project, by the day, the week, or the month. The quote depends on the number of days, whether there is water on site, and the distance from Calgary. Delivery and other charges may apply, such as bringing in water when the site has none. Your quote lists everything. The deposit is 50%. Quotes do not include GST. Send the site and dates for a full quote, usually within a day.

How many workers do two toilets cover under Alberta's OHS Code?

Schedule 7 of Alberta's Occupational Health and Safety Code sets a minimum of one toilet for 1 to 10 workers of a sex, and two toilets for 11 to 25 workers of that sex. The count is made separately for each sex. Two toilets therefore meet the minimum for up to 25 workers of one sex. On a mixed crew, with one room set aside as the women's washroom and one as the men's, each room is one toilet and covers up to 10 workers of that sex. Larger crews need more toilets on site, and we help you check the requirement for your crew size.

Who services the trailer on a long rental?

Ask when you request a quote. Alberta's OHS Code requires a self-contained toilet to be emptied and serviced at regular intervals, so servicing for a long rental needs to be settled before the trailer arrives, based on the crew size and how long it stays.
