Yes, a farm wedding can have real washrooms. Our two-stall luxury washroom trailer brings flushing toilets, warm running water, and heat and A/C to farm, barn, ranch, and acreage weddings around Calgary, no plumbing required.
The short answer.
A farm, barn, ranch, or acreage wedding does not need indoor plumbing to have proper washrooms. Our luxury washroom trailer, sometimes called a restroom or bathroom trailer, brings its own fresh and waste tanks, runs on standard power or a generator, and suits most weddings up to about 100 guests.
In each of the two private rooms

Level ground the truck can reach
A reasonably level spot a truck can back into, on gravel or firm grass. Walk the route first, especially after rain.
Power, or a generator
Its 30A and 15A inlets take power from the barn or shop; with nothing in reach, it runs on a generator.
A hose tap, on town water or a well
We fill the 160 US gal fresh tank from a hose tap on site. No tap? We bring water in for an added fee.
The house stays for the family
A farmhouse bathroom and septic are not built for a wedding crowd. The trailer's 260 US gal waste tank keeps guests off both.

An easy walk from the barn or tent in dress shoes, but clear of the ceremony backdrop and sunset view. Send a photo and we help pick the spot.
Lit after dark
Exterior under-glow makes the trailer easy to find after dark. Light the path from the barn too, or ask us about evening lighting as an add-on.

Fold-out steps mean it is not step-free. If a guest uses a wheelchair or has limited mobility, plan an accessible option and tell us early.

What does a washroom trailer need on site at a farm wedding?

How many guests can one washroom trailer handle at a farm wedding?
Its two private rooms suit most weddings up to about 100 guests, by the common rule of thumb of one stall per 50 guests over a four to six hour event. A long night or an open bar lowers that; for a bigger list, talk to us before you book.

Is a washroom trailer better than porta potties for a farm wedding?
For most couples, yes. A porta potty is a chemical tank with no running water; our trailer has private rooms with flushing porcelain toilets, warm running water, halo-lit mirrors, and heat or A/C. With guests in formal wear and far from the house, that difference shows.
