Trailer prices are published starting prices we checked on Calgary-area rental sites in September 2026: $1,550 for a three-stall trailer, excluding delivery and water, and $1,795 a day or $2,295 a weekend for a four-stall trailer. Prices change, so confirm with a written quote.
Those are other companies' trailers. Ours, a two-stall, is quoted for your date and venue.
What the headline price leaves out
The biggest difference between quotes is usually what the first number leaves out. Ask every company, including us:
- Delivery and pickup. Some trailer prices exclude delivery entirely. We quote delivery with your date, based on the drive from Calgary, and list it in the quote.
- Water and power. Some trailers need a water hookup or a generator at extra cost. Ours carries its own fresh water and waste tanks and runs on standard power, or a generator where there is none. We fill it from a hose tap on site; water costs extra only when the venue has none.
- How many days. A Saturday wedding often means a Friday drop-off and a Sunday pickup. Ask whether that is one day or three. Ours has a multi-day rate for weekends and longer events.
- Servicing and attendants. Whether the unit is cleaned and restocked during the event, and what an attendant costs.
- Deposits and tax. The booking deposit, any damage hold, and GST. Ours is a 50% deposit to hold the date and a refundable $1,000 hold the week of. Our quotes do not include GST.
When porta potties are the right call
We rent trailers and will still say it: for a short, casual, or very large outdoor event, standard units are often the sensible choice. For a wedding, where guests are dressed up most of the day and every one of them visits, the trailer is usually worth it. More in our honest side-by-side.
